As digital and social media become ever more pervasive, I am increasingly drawn to capturing the essence of a place through drawing instead of relying on cameras. Sketching is a powerful tool for communicating ideas and often serves as the first step in the design process. I continue to sketch to improve observation and gain a deeper understanding of form, refining my skills.
